View Full Version : Easy Solution to the Video Driver issue?

From the testing I have done I think a simple fix would be to have 2 xom.efi files one with the vga to install XP and one without so we can access the video card directly. Some basic video bios work may need to be done due to firmware difference but otherwise things should work fine.

You need VGA to boot.

If you press f4 f7 like you do for the iMac hack and then for the video card press 1. This looks like it doesn't load the xom VGA adapter and thus video is frozen at the point however Windows still boots fine just nothing gets displayed. If someone do remote desktop to their Mac during this time they might be able to find out whats going on.
