Nobody seems to be talking about Virtual PC 2004 on these forums yet.

I have successfully installed Vista CTP Feb 2006 into it while running XP on a MacBook Pro. Runs slowly, but still usable if you want a look at the new look and feel system. I don't think, without native drivers inside XP, that we'll be able to see the full transparency effects. Otherwise, it's nice to get a look at it.

Anyway, Virtual PC 2004 might be cheating for the intention of native booting... BUT it's better than nothing right now.

Wow thats amazing that you were able to get Vista to run on the Mac. But I do bet it runs slow, Vista is a system whore. Heh I'm more shocked you were able to get Feb. version of Vista to install period, mine wont install, keeps giving me the blue screen of death every time I go to install it on my PC, only the older one works lol.

Correction : Vista insn't running on the Mac directly, It runs on VirtualPC 2004 wich runs on WindowsXP on the Mac , witch is a lot lesser interesting thing (better try VMWARE).
The only good news in this, it's VPC 2004 running correclty...
anyway Vista won't come up untill early 2007 now (MS delayed It again from 2006's end to early 2007)
