I must be really stupid, but isn't this the solution?

Edit: I saw this giude was for the developer macs, please remove is this is the wrong solution.

Is it possible to extract the boot file from the Intel Developer Mac and install it into the macbook/imac? Since itz possible to boot XP

i seriously doubt that devel-macs will help us in this case..

As ive understood it, the developer macs are rebranded standard pcs with very little difference compared to standard pc´s, so i would assume that the bios is eather closely simulated or is present witch makes the whole thing pretty simple on develmacs.

what _could_ be done tho (by a user with some skillz) would be to use the intelmacs bios as base/original in creating a bios emulator for the new macs.. but i think this could be done regardless of what computer used.

the DTK machines ship with BIOS, as said by others, they are essentially just a standard PC in a G5 enclosure. Dual booring on them is easier than with the released machines. Sure, some messing around with GRUB is needed, but it can be done and I've been witness to it, so I know it is possible to do it.
