I read everywhere, that you need a Win XP SP2-CD.
Since mine is only SP1 I wanted to ask, what to do. Can I ignore the Servie Pack an go ahead with creating the EFI-CD? Or will I need a SP2-CD for the whole thing to work?
If yes, how can I update my SP1-CD?
thanks a lot for help

Hi kami,
it's pretty easy to upgrade a SP1 CD to a SP2 CD. Microsoft has a detailed howto on their website. Just head over to mircosoft.com and enter SP2 into the search field. The second link should be named something like: "Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)", or this link should get you there as well:
support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=windowsxpsp2 (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=windowsxpsp2)
Just follow the steps outlined and upgrade your SP1 CD to SP2, create a slipstream CD win xomhelper and off you go...
Just bear in mind, that you will need to use IE for Microsofts website and that you will need a PC to actually upgrade your SP1 CD.
Cheers,
Budy
