The Source code is now available for XOM.

SVN repository is at svn://svn.onmac.net/xom/trunk
trac bug tracker/SVN browser is at http://svn.onmac.net/trac

Info on the build environment is available at http://svn.onmac.net/trac/wiki/DevEnvironment

Excellent news!

Btw, I had to modify the build.bat slightly otherwise the make failed. Objcopy errored because of the double backslash in "apps\xom\..\..\\build\bios32\output\apps\xom\font. obj"

The fix is to remove the trailing backslash from the line "set SDK_INSTALL_DIR=%CD%\..\..\"

The svn server is not even in DNS any more. Where did it go? Is the source available from somewhere else?

Does anybody visit this forum any longer?

I don't know where it went, but I have a copy on my hard drive if you're interested. (PM me an email address to send it to.)

No, except maybe for wiki-spammers.

Hello,

It seems that the code is no longer available, for many months now ...

Given that xom was put under a slightly modified GPL license, this is kind of "illegal".

So, could a source code archive be made available to those who downloaded xom while it was under the terms of this licence ?

Another solution, for the future, would be to simply stop distributing it, as it's clearly being distributed illegally by onmac.net currently, as the source is missing. But I think this would really be a pity for the community.

Alex

P.S.: but I still downloaded it while it was under this license, and I want the source code ;)

Also, for your information, I think the onmac.net license itself is illegal too:
- it's a modified version of the GPL, which is forbiden by the GPL (you may use and distribute the license, but not alter it)
- the copyright note of the original GPL were simply removed from "your" license and replaced by another one

Too bad ! :(
