Has anyone tried the official ATI Catalyst Driver with Bootcamp?

Would it work in theory?

I just finished manually installing Catalyst 6.3 via Device Manager and it seems to be working fine. The setup.exe will fail to detect the Mobility 1600, but if you go back in and manually install the driver through the device manager (pointing it at the C:\ATI\SUPPORT\6-3... directory), then running the WDM and ACE setups from that same directory, everything should be ok.

Any benchmark comparisons between the apple and the catalyst drivers yet?

I believe the driver Apple provided is actually newer than Catalyst 6.3, so you might as well just keep Apple's driver.
