This looks like a sort of mix between VPC and Boot Camp. They talk about virtualization, meaning a VM that's able to direct access pherifericals and run almost to native speed (at least they say so).
Anyone tested it (I'm at work now, cannot). ;]

I tested it, and it worked very, very fast.
I think it is way faster than VPC as you don't need to emulate PPC -> Intel thing anymore.
The login screen comes up basically 8 seconds after you press the green button (now that's pretty fast).

I deleted it after testing though, as I already have Boot Camp and don't really need Windows other than gaming.

Hi,

I've done some testing, too and it is really a breeze. Although looks more like a kind of emulation, than virtualization, but who cares. In the end, its fast and easy to set up. Plus, you can run XP and Mac OS X side by side.

A pretty neat program - I am thinking about actually buying it, since I need some programms tha run only on Windows frequently and having to reboot my MBP to start Windows is quite inconvinient.

Given the kext's it has loaded in it, it sure looks like a virtualization product to me. From their web site, it looks like they've been on Linux for a while.

Also, VMWare is coming:

"VMware has plans to roll out virtualization for consumers over coming years. "We can run it on the Mac OS in our labs already," Greene says."
