Boot Camp and Linux LiveCDs

I am interested in getting the backtrack liveCD working.

I have tried to boot from it, but it doesn't go.

I tried holding down the option/alt key, f12, and the eject key, and I see an ISOLINUX 3.7 message, that gets cleared. How could I continue with the ISOLINUX booting sequence?

Well as I see there are so many experienced people out here and they are all busy discussing about the issues that bother them. Being a newcomer not only to this place but also to the world of Mac I would want to know in details about the aspect you people are talking about. I think this would also boost me in a great way for my ongoing project work too. So your help would be most appreciated.
