BootCamp, MacBook Pro, and HalfLife2

I've heard many reports stating that HL2 is running great on various MacIntels, however I get some SERIOUS sound hitching, and it's basically unplayable. Is anyone else experiencing this on their MacBook Pro?

yesterday i installed DoD source
i ve no sound problems...
is not playable that good in highest resolution anmaximum advanced settings!
today i will change arround settings to find out the best performance!
perhaps you can post a screenshot of you settings....

i'm on a MBP 2GHz
2GB ram
256 MB grafics

I dunno if you know this, but the MBP clock is severly underclocked in comparison to other note books with similar hardware configurations - you might wanna look into "over clocking"
