View Full Version : Keyboard issues

I installed XP on my MacBook Pro using Boot Camp yesterday and like it for the most part. My issues though have to do with the keyboard and track pad.

I can't right-click, nor can I figure out the key command, if any, to accomplish this. There is also no DELETE key(not backspace) so I can't CTRL+ALT+DELETE to get to the task manager. I can't scroll using two finger dragging.

Sure I could plug in an external mouse and keyboard, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a laptop now doesn't it?

Does anyone know of any work arounds for any of these issues?

you might try fetching the "drivers" from here (http://wiki.onmac.net/index.php/Users/Drivers) for the keyboard. basically a remap utility that should let you reprogram your right apple to delete, etc.

as for the right clicking, does ctrl-click work for that?

I learned that a right-click can be done using SHIFT+F10 while in Windows.

Thanks! I will use the remap to give me a DEL key. And no, as is, CTRL+Click doesn't work for right-click. However, one of the drivers on the page you linked me to is designed to force this if one is using a one button Apple mouse on a windows box. I think i should be good to go with these two. Thanks again!
