Hi I was hoping for some input from some other users that had been playing games in windows.

I am finding the iMac gets very hot around the top of the screen and on the top bezel when I play video games like BF2. Is anyone else finding this?

It is really hot! and I wonder how it can be good for the machine to get that hot. My iMac G5 had so many issues and I think most were heat related and I don't want the same thing to happen to my new iMac.

Well, be aware that while OS X and Windows when under a heavy CPU/GPU load, will BOTH heat up a machine equally... Windows currently heats up a machine a bit more when idle. This is related to a power-management bug in Windows XP SP 2, and may or may not be making things slightly worse when under load. You can look in the XOM forum where I posted a fix to help a little bit. I am noticing a difference on my MBP in terms of idle temp using it.

Is there any temp monitors that are known to work on the boot camp? Do any of you worry you are heating up your computers to much by OC'ing
