G'day everyone, I just wanted to know (I searched but couldnt find it) if I could use a pre-activated automated XP SP2 install or can i only use the vanilla XP sp2 disk?, I accidently left my ridgyDidge cd back on OZ when i moved abroad but I have a verison I made that has all my apps and serial and activation taken care of, but I dont want to use it for fear it will do funky things to my shiny new Imac..

any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

XP is XP is Xp for the most part. Unless the thing is using sysprep to install it into a spec part. there is no reason your install shouldn't work. As long as you can follow the directions provided by Apple you should be fine. In my case I used a SP1 CD that I slipstreamed SP2 into and all went well.
