CD Stalls Can't continue

Hi,

Almost every time I try to install the XP CD it keeps ejecting. On the few times it sees it and goes to restart - it then says no bootable disk. Once again it ejects it. One time it made it to the blue partition screen and then stalled.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Please help/ I have a 2.0 MBP

Sounds like it might be dirty / have scratches. I found the built in drives to be very sensitive with my OS X cd (had a couple finger prints on it) and it took me about 5 tries to reinstall OS X. One alternative is to borrow someone else's media, or download the same cd from the net somewhere. Maybe even making a copy of that CD on a PC (or even your mac) will fix it.

Agreed with sud0n1m's recommendation to burn a new CD. Several people have found that allows an otherwise obstinate install to continue.
