DVI to Video - No go ?

Hy all,

Connected a DVItoVideo - cable, booted in OSX, no problem : Video on TV, but, on XP, no go !
Always detects a monitor instead of a TV. Driver-related ?

I had a similar experience when using the Mini DVI to VGA connector from Apple.

I posted it in another thread and found out that another user mentions that his 2nd DVI connected monitor worked fine under XP.

I ordered the Mini DVI to DVI plug from Apple and it should be here Monday via FedEx.

I'll post back how it turns out.

Of course, I have no idea what you'd do for your solution unless your TV has a DVI connector - My Sony HDTV does ;)

My DVI to VGA works well, so, I guess that's not the problem.

I just hooked up my Mini-DVI to DVI and Windows XP now can use the second monitor.

Just to reiterate - Mini-DVI to VGA didn't work - Mini-DVI to DVI works like a champ.

Not yet tried with omega-drivers ...
