Has anyone else not have the startup disks show up in the "StartUp Disk" in control panel?

My Hard Discs show up in Startup disk panel in both Windows and OSX.

They show up in OSX but in Control panel, Windows shows up irregularly and never OSX in Control Panel.
I can switch with the option key at boot though. Wierd.

The very first time i was in xp after doing the bootcamp thing, i didnt see osx on my internal drive. however, the xp startup disk control panel did see my external ppc install as a valid drive... i didnt try booting off it.

when i restarted xp after installing something, i had unplugged the external and the osx partition shows up in the control panel.

i just chalked it up to xp being weird.
