Default Testing/evaluation process

Hey Colin,

How long do you expect the testing process to take? A lot of us are on pins and needles for a solution here!

Thanks.

I can wait as long as the solution is rock solid. I'm sure testing, since it is proving successful from what I've seen, will end up being more of a beta-testing phase where they work out the bugs and make sure it works on all the different systems, etc.

So... my bet is testing will take as long as it needs to

Exclamation Where we are now.

The solution is confirmed working on the 17in iMac and the MacBook Pro. It needs to be tweaked for the Mac Mini, and the 20in iMac. Once these tweaks are done then it will be released. We want to make sure that there arent 200 messages from angry 20in iMac users who cant get it to work. It will save a lot of time later by verifying it working on all systems now!

That is very exciting that it works on the MacBooks. Do you know if the drivers are working properly or not? Either way, I am very anxious to get it installed on my precious MBP.

That's silly. As a 20inch iMac owner I can honestly say, I'd rather see the solution and not be able to use it then wait for tweaks.
